Orthodontic & tooth-friendly: What the dentistar soother has to do with a spoon

Category: Pacifier
What does the dentistar pacifier have to do with a spoon? And why does this make it particularly tooth-friendly?

Overview

Our particularly tooth-friendly pacifier

The Dental-Step of our soother reduces the pressure on the jaw and teeth by 90% compared to a conventional teat. In addition to its uniqueDental-Step, our dentistar soother has other features that make it particularly tooth- and jaw-friendly.

That's why the spoon shape is particularly tooth-friendly

To illustrate this, let’s compare the teat with a teaspoon:

If the spoon lies normally in the mouth, its curvature pushes the tongue downwards. As a result, the tongue can no longer assume its natural position on the upper palate. The natural resting position of the tongue is disturbed and an open mouth posture is encouraged.

When the spoon is turned upside down, its cavity adapts to the palate – just like the dentistar pacifier. The tongue has more space for its natural position on the upper palate.

This allows the tongue to assume its natural resting position on the palate even with a pacifier.

More Information

An angled soother with a special spoon shape is particularly tooth- and jaw-friendly, as it gives the tongue as much space as possible for its natural position. Soothers can therefore effectively prevent misaligned teeth.
